Join the fun SAC Contest

The Scandinavian Activity Contest is a contest with a long history, it already started in 1959. The aims of the contest are to promote amateur radio activity within Scandinavia as well as to encourage amateur radio communications between Scandinavian and non-Scandinavian amateur radio stations. Non-Scandinavian stations will try to work as many Scandinavian stations as possible.

There is also a country competition among the Scandinavian countries which add to the excitement of this contest. For a very long period Finland (OH) has won the country competition with Sweden (SM) as the runner up. But in 2006 this was changed for the first time. Sweden won!

Please join the fun of being in the Scandinavian Activity Contest. We need you all, to hand out QSO’s. And we’ll love to move you to other bands for a new band multiplier.

Contest Club Finland club magazine PileUp! has published a special SAC issue 2008 (PDF) 2007 (PDF) 2006 (PDF). Download and get inspired to join the fun!
